How you can helpVolunteer NetworkIf you agree to be in our volunteer network, we will contact you by phone or e-mail when we have a specific need that matches your interests. Property CaretakersFor each of our properties, we are setting up an informal group of people who walk the properties regularly, to be our "eyes" and "ears." Property caretakers let us know if maintenance is needed on a property or if there is a problem to be resolved. They also help us plan clean-ups and other improvements for the properties. Property caretakers may be asked to attend a meeting once or twice a year. Standing CommitteesThe Board of Directors maintains standing committees in the following areas:
Any member of the Attleboro Land Trust may join one of these committees, which meet on a regular basis. Board of DirectorsAfter you have gained some experience as a volunteer, you may be asked to join our board of directors. Directors serve a three-year term, meet monthly, and take on significant responsibility for the organization. |
